My job is simple: keep the magical books in the library from leaking into the real world.
Spoiler alert—I’m terrible at it.
One rainy afternoon, fueled by bad decisions and too much pumpkin spice, I accidentally free the king of dragons from a story. Aries is scorching-hot trouble with molten eyes, literal firepower, and zero interest in staying tucked neatly between the pages.
Unfortunately, he’s not the only thing I unleashed.
Now something else is prowling the stacks. Something darker. Something written with fangs and sharp plot twists.
If Aries and I can’t put the magic back where it belongs, the whole world might go up in smoke. And as it turns out, dragons aren’t exactly great at quietly solving problems.
But they’re fantastic at making sparks fly.
