In 2005 at Cambridge University, aspiring poet Joe Greene dreams of leaving his mark on the world, though he doubts it will ever happen. Then Esi appears quite literally from the future. She is part of a time-travel tour to witness history’s greatest moments, and in her time, Joe is as famous as Shakespeare.
But Esi has a secret. She is not here to admire Joe’s work. Something that happens this year will destroy her life, and she is determined to change it. Going rogue from her tour, she enlists herself as Joe’s dating coach to help him win his future muse.
As plans go off course and Joe starts falling for Esi instead, both must decide whether destiny is fixed, or theirs to rewrite.
