On the morning of June 25, 1876, 611 men of the U.S. 7th Cavalry rode toward Little Bighorn, unaware that 3,000 Native warriors awaited them. Among these warriors stood Crazy Horse, leader of the Oglala Sioux, while General George Armstrong Custer led the cavalry.
