“Badass by birth. Drifter by choice. Vigilante because justice requires it.”
Son of a controversial Navy SEAL—raised to survive a societal collapse that never came—Nate Vigil roams the heart of America restoring justice to victims of con men, criminals, and the corrupt. He’s found a calling, but can he find redemption?
IN THIS ADVENTURE…
When a wind farm worker is gunned down on the job, the County Sheriff agrees with the locals and deems it an accident:
“Wrong place, wrong time.”
But to Vigil, it looks like murder. And he says so.
Bluntly.
Not that it’s any of his business. He’s just passing through…
At least until three thugs with Brooklyn accents try to run him out of town.
Now they’ve made it his business.
Big mistake.
Vigil figures they’re covering something up. But what?
The beautiful and deadly Mira Getty—who claims to be a private investigator for an insurance company—wants the answer even worse than he does. But why is she so intent on enlisting Vigil’s help? And who is she really? Because she’s too good with a gun to be working for GEICO. That’s for damn sure.
There are secrets buried beneath the wind generators in Carlin, Texas. Worth billions to an evil man if he can keep them hidden. The only problem? He didn’t count on Vigil showing up.
