Today, Ruwen Shade is finally going to die.
He expects to be reborn as a powerful Mage, a step toward restoring his family’s ruined reputation. Instead, a spiteful Priest sabotages his future, assigning him a Class considered useless by nearly everyone.
Just as everything falls apart, Shade receives a revelation. His goddess offers him access to a hidden Class, one with incredible potential. But with that gift comes danger. Other gods see him as a threat and send assassins to stop him before he can grow stronger.
To survive, Shade must reach level five. That means entering the Black Pyramid, a dungeon so lethal even the divine steer clear.
