But as he grows older, the weight of his secrets and the pressures of a hostile world close in. One night, he runs—only to be picked up by a stranger who claims to know him.
Taken to a secluded place, Stolid could escape but chooses to stay. As they exchange cryptic memories, Stolid’s defenses crack, and the stranger reveals truths that force him to confront his own fears and self-betrayal.
