Somewhere beyond time, a library holds the memories of everyone who has lived. You just need the right watch to open its doors.
In 1938, eleven-year-old Lisavet Levy is accidentally left behind in the time space, a vast archive of memory-books accessed only by special timepieces. She grows up among the echoes of other lives, watching history unfold through the eyes of the dead.
When agents begin destroying volumes to erase inconvenient truths, Lisavet secretly preserves what she can. Then in 1949, a spy named Ernest Duquesne enters the time space and offers her a way back to the world.
Now Lisavet must decide if rewriting history is worth risking everything she has built. The clock is ticking, and some memories refuse to stay buried.
