Now I’m trapped in a frozen fae court on the brink of war, where magic is deadly and the king looks at me like I’ve become a problem he can’t afford… or something far worse.

But staying away from him is impossible.
The closer I get to the Frost King, the stranger things become. Every touch sparks something neither of us can explain, and the suspicion in his eyes turns into something far more dangerous.

Like he’s already decided I belong to him, and part of me is terrified he’s right.
The problem is that the longer I stay in his court, the harder it becomes to remember why I wanted to leave.
But every time the Frost King looks at me, I get the terrifying sense he’s seeing something I can’t.
And the more I learn about this realm, the more I fear the Frost King may be right about who I am.
Or that the truth is something far more dangerous than I ever imagined.
