About the book
When you find something precious... You defend it with your life.
Eden
Where I come from, there’s no forgiveness for a whistleblower, even if I saved countless lives. Unemployed, with a wrecked reputation, my only option is a pity job as a leadership consultant for a secret, government-employed team of assassins.
After moving clear across the country, I thought I’d feel safe from the ones who want revenge for my so-called valor, but then I meet him. Linc. The ghost in the shadows, who will never be seen for the hero he is.
I should probably be intimidated by the most lethal assassin PALADIN employs, except the monster has the kindest eyes when he's looking at me. Still, the question remains of who I should fear more…
The ones who are after me or the ones who promised to protect me.
Linc
I love the way she screams my name, but I like how she whispers it too.
I vowed to never get attached, but Eden has a hold on me that no one has before. She’s the light and until her, I didn’t realize how lonely the darkness is.
Forget PALADIN’s rules. I refuse to let her go. I’ve finally found what’s precious to me and now I have to keep her close, defend her fiercely. She’s mine to pleasure and protect.
And whoever keeps threatening Eden’s life, is going to lose theirs.
Whistleblower is book 1 in the PALADIN Series. It is a spicy, touch her and die, morally gray alpha hero, romantic suspense intended for audiences 18+. Please check the trigger warnings prior to reading.

Our take
A confession on graduation night shattered a friendship neither of them ever truly left behind. In Hits Different, injured soccer star Brandon Carter reunites with Parker Di Rossi, the best friend who once broke his heart, at an elite rehabilitation facility. As old wounds reopen and unspoken feelings resurface, this M/M sports romance explores second chances, identity, and love that refuses to stay buried.
Choose your retailer
About the book
Hits Different is a sports romance, filled with wholesome angst, enjoyable banter, and just a dash of spice. It’s best friends to strangers to lovers, between two down bad ex-best friends who reconnect after life throws them back together. It’s unrequited love. Until it’s not.
Parker Di Rossi and Brandon Carter were best friends until the last night of high school, when Brandon made a confession, and Parker broke his heart.
Three years later, Brandon is now the MVP of the college soccer scene. But after a career-threatening injury lands him in rehab, he’s thrown back into his old friend’s orbit and forced to confront not only Parker, but the feelings he thought were buried a long time ago.
Faced with a family scandal and growing media pressure, Brandon's determined not to fall back in love with the one person he can never have. Romance between best friends never works, especially when one of them is straight.
The only problem?
Nobody told Parker that.
Parker has one goal: make his family proud by honouring his late father's legacy as a mixed martial artist.
But after getting expelled from college and kicked out of his MMA gym, he's forced to take a job working for his disapproving cousin at Summit, an elite soccer rehabilitation facility, as he desperately tries to get his life back on track.
The one bright side? It gives Parker the chance to finally make things right with Brandon Carter - Parker's former best friend, who he can't stop thinking about.
As Parker determinedly pursues his MMA ambitions, he grows closer to Brandon in ways that he never expected. Now, he has to choose what he wants to fight for more: his father’s legacy, or Brandon’s heart.

About the book
An engrossing investigation into the true crime story of a sixteen-year family feud that ended in murder in early twentieth-century South Carolina.
As compelling as fiction, The Guns of Meeting Street reconstructs a series of murders from the early 1940s that rocked rural Edgefield County, South Carolina. Featuring a cast of unlikely antagonists—a prominent store owner, an elementary school teacher, and a law enforcement officer—the acts of revenge resulted in five murders and a trio of executions, including that of the first woman to be electrocuted in South Carolina.
Through interviews with members of the two families involved, T. Felder Dorn probes the longstanding feud between the Logues and the Timmermans to uncover this chilling plot of resentment, revenge, and violence. Dorn's careful research weaves together the oral history of family members affected by the shooting with court transcripts, prisoner confessions, and coroners' reports to produce a truly gripping account of the events.
Although most of the deaths took place between 1940 and 1943, the roots of this tragedy can be traced back to killings that occurred in the Meeting Street community in the 1920s. The story climaxes on January 15, 1943, with the execution, within a single hour, of Sue Stidham Logue, George Logue, and Clarence Bagwell for the murder of Davis Timmerman. Dorn's saga concludes with the 1960 parole and rehabilitation of Joe Frank Logue Jr., the only one of Timmerman's killers to escape capital punishment.
Not for the faint of heart, The Guns of Meeting Street details the circumstances and motivations for the killings, the complexities of the court cases, and the involvement in the proceedings of South Carolina governors Richard Manning Jefferies, Olin D. Johnston, and J. Strom Thurmond.
"If you have any interest in history or true crime, The Guns of Meeting Street is a winner." —Spartanburg Herald Journal
"Dorn's rigorously researched book unfolds in a clear, straightforward style that renders the events all the more disturbing." —The State
"Dorn's extremely impressive book has all the elements—is fascinating in its entirety. And for every reader who loves a good mystery, The Guns of Meeting Street is available to intrigue, inform, incite and excite. It'll never get a chance to gather dust on any bookshelf." —Union (N.J.) Leader

About the book
“If you've been looking for your newest horror obsession after The Haunting of Hill House, read this one next.”—BuzzFeed
She didn't run from her dark past. She moved in
For the lucky among us, life is what you make of it; but for Dixie Wheeler, the theme music for her story was chosen by another long ago, on the day her father butchered her mother and brothers and then slashed a knife across his own throat. Only one-year-old Dixie was spared, becoming infamously known as Baby Blue for the song left playing in the aftermath of the slaughter.
Twenty-five years later, Dixie is still desperate for a connection to the family she can’t remember. So when her childhood home goes up for sale, Dixie sets aside all reason and moves in. But as the ghosts of her family seemingly begin to take up residence in the house that was once theirs, Dixie starts to question her sanity and wonders if the evil force menacing her is that of her father or a demon of her own making.
In order to make sense of her present, Dixie becomes determined to unravel the truth of her past and seeks out the detective who originally investigated the murders. But the more she learns, the more she opens up the uncomfortable possibility that the sins of her father may belong to another. As bodies begin to pile up around her, Dixie must find a way to expose the lunacy behind her family’s massacre to save her few loved ones who are still alive—and whatever scrap of sanity she has left.

An Amazon Charts bestseller.
From bestselling author Mary Ellen Taylor comes a story about profound loss, hard truths, and an overgrown greenhouse full of old secrets.
Adrift in the wake of her father’s death, a failed marriage, and multiple miscarriages, Libby McKenzie feels truly alone. Though her new life as a wedding photographer provides a semblance of purpose, it’s also a distraction from her profound pain.
When asked to photograph a wedding at the historic Woodmont estate, Libby meets the owner, Elaine Grant. Hoping to open Woodmont to the public, Elaine has employed young widower Colton Reese to help restore the grounds and asks Libby to photograph the process. Libby is immediately drawn to the old greenhouse shrouded in honeysuckle vines.
As Libby forms relationships and explores the overgrown—yet hauntingly beautiful—Woodmont estate, she finds the emotional courage to sort through her father’s office. The Basis for the Award-Winning Movie
Saul Indian Horse is a child when his family retreats into the woods. Among the lakes and the cedars, they attempt to reconnect with half-forgotten traditions and hide from the authorities who have been kidnapping Ojibway youth. But when winter approaches, Saul loses everything: his brother, his parents, his beloved grandmother—and then his home itself.
Alone in the world and placed in a horrific boarding school, Saul is surrounded by violence and cruelty. At the urging of a priest, he finds a tentative salvation in hockey. Rising at dawn to practice alone, Saul proves determined and undeniably gifted. His intuition and vision are unmatched. His speed is remarkable. Together they open doors for him: away from the school, into an all-Ojibway amateur circuit, and finally within grasp of a professional career. Yet as Saul's victories mount, so do the indignities and the taunts, the racism and the hatred—the harshness of a world that will never welcome him, tied inexorably to the sport he loves.
