ICYMI: February 2026 Bestselling Books at Apropos

The books our community reached for most this month, across dragons, thrillers, and everything in between.

February is short. But our reading lists are not.

In just 28 days, readers moved between gothic prophecy, buried secrets, immortal politics, alien moons, psychological unraveling, and a car with serious attachment issues. The February 2026 bestselling books at Apropos reflect exactly how wide our reading moods can stretch.

Romantasy continues to anchor the momentum, especially stories shaped by prophecy, power imbalances, and morally complicated attraction. At the same time, grounded fantasy with political weight held steady, alongside thrillers built on isolation and distrust.

Readers also made room for dystopian spectacle, classic horror, cerebral science fiction, and emotionally driven family fiction. There was no single dominant mood. There rarely is.

If anything stands out this month, it’s range. We moved easily from dragons to domestic suspense without blinking. That flexibility feels less like a trend and more like habit.

Where the TBR Goes From Here

If February tells us anything, it’s that readers are comfortable holding epic fantasy, psychological suspense, literary dystopia, and intimate family drama all at once. The stack shifts. The curiosity stays.
